These are our normal surgery hours for access to Newquay Health Centre.

However we do offer late evening pre-bookable appointments between 6.30 and 7.30 with your GP. No other services will be available and the chemist will not be open. The front door will be locked and you will need to use the intercom on your arrival to gain entry.

When We Are Closed

If you require urgent medical attention outside of surgery hours please call our emergency lines of (01637) 872956 and (01637) 873921 and you will automatically be transferred to the out of hours service Serco Health.

NHS Direct

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
